In this workshop, the presenter will show how the seasons are reflected in Japanese culture. Participants will discover the meaning behind seasonal plants and motifs and why they became important in Japanese tradition. The workshop will also introduce seasonal customs associated with autumn, that are still seen in present day Japan.
